Drvenik - Nice, green coves with the sources of potable water render a special atmosphere to Drvenik. Gastronomic offer includes fish, other seafood and home-made specialities. Entertainment programs are offered in nearby Gradac. DRVENIK, a village and ferry pier in the cove of the same name on the Makarska Riviera, 29 km southeast of Makarska. The coast, with a number of coves, sand shores (so-called 'pjeskulje', sandy soils) and flysh belts (so-called 'duzi'), is protected from the north by the ridges of Rilic. Accomodation is really great, rooms are comfortable and luxury.Stuff is very kind and friendly. The sandy beach is very nice, but crowdy so if you want quite place on the beach you'll have to find it somewhere else. Location is good because Makarska, Gradac, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Pelješac, Split... are close, but night or cultural life doesn't exist in Drvenik ( except bars and one new disco club). Hotel is still new so I tolerated not so excellent food, I hope they'll work on that problem. Finally, I had really nice vacation, but think that Drvenik is not for someone who is looking for runaway, like I am...
