Brijuni islands

Brijuni are a group of twelve small islands of the west coast of Istria. Famous for their scenic beauty, the islands are a holiday resort and a Croatian National Park.

The island of Krk

the largest island in Croatia, is connected by bridge to the mainland. It is known for its Frankopan castles, as well as the Baška Tablet, the first written document in Croatian.

The island of Lošinj

is an island in the Kvarner known for its beautiful coral reefs, thick pine forests, and a clean sea, frequently visited by dolphins. Lošinj is a destination of choice for divers, thanks to its beautiful sea life, and shipwrecks from ancient times. Over 1000 examples of medicinal herbs were discovered on the island by Prof. Haračić.

The island of Cres

is an island in the Kvarner known for its ancient walls, Valun tablet in glagolitic script and is a home to the endangered Griffon Vulture.

The island of Silba

the name for the island comes from Latin "silva" which means forest, as the entire island is covered with thick pine forest. It is known to tourists for its beautiful sandy beaches.

The island of Pag

the island of Pag is best know for its world famous cheese and Pag doily. Two of the largest towns are Pag and Novalja. In summer Novalja, with its beach Zrće, is the center of nightlife on the island.

The island of Rab

is an island in the Kvarner. The north of the island is barren because of the strong wind Bura, while the south part is known for its rich Mediterranean vegetation. The city Rab is best known for the four church bell towers which became the symbol of the town and island.

Kornati

Kornati archipelago consists of over 140 islands, part of the archipelago is a Croatian National Park, and some other parts, like the beautiful Telascica bay is a Nature Park. The entire Kornati archipelago is known for their bizarre shapes and magnificent landscapes.

The island of Hvar

it is an island of Dalmatia known for the production of olive oil and wine, for the aromatic pinewoods, and the production of lavander, and also for its medieval walls and fortresses.

it is an island of Dalmatia known for its white marble, pinewoods, and olive groves. On the island there is the famous beach Zlatni rat, known for the fact that it changes its form due to the change of currents and waves.

it is an island of Dalmatia known for its depth, for the national park situated on the West side of the island, for its storic evidences influenced by the Greeks and Romans.

Chivalric tournement on the island of Rab

every year, on this island, takes part the medieval carousel, in which 12 riders dressed in medieval outfits ,with arrows and crossbows must hit a target. The one that hits the closest, is the winner. Different manifestations accompany these evenings.
