Rakalj - Rakalj is a small town on the western coast of the Rasa Bay, on the eastern coast of Istria, 12 km northeast of Marcana. Rakalj and its surrounding have rich flora and fauna, providing excellent hunting and hiking opportunities as well as fine prerequisites for a more intense development of country tourism. In Rakalj the Istrian folk music is cherished with care, particularly playing the Istrian wind instruments (rozenice, sopile, mih - kinds of pipes and flutes) and the Istrian dance (balun).
