CARNIVAL: 17.01.-17.02.2010.
The Carnival is a celebration with an ancient tradition in Croatia. The Carnival of Rijeka is one of the biggest events suitable for young people in Croatia. In addition to the city of Rijeka and the coast of Kvarner, major Carnival parades are also held in Split, Dubrovnik and the island of Pag.
The city of Rijeka is known for its many parade floats and for numerous parties during the festivities. For those who want a more traditional carnival we recommend the island of Pag where you can enjoy on the famous event "Robinja" (The slave). And for those who desire masked parades in the palace of ancient nobility we recommend the city of Split. Finally to enjoy dancing under masks choose the carnival in the city of Dubrovnik.
Spend the month of February in wonderful cities on the Croatian coast, and enjoy the carnival time, parties and have a holiday to remember!
