During our trip we will take you to Motovun, a picturesque small Istrian town, known for its authentic medieval ambience, but also for the panoramic views of vineyards and fields scattered near the Motovun forest. This small town will be our base from which we will depart on trips which will include various tastings of typical wine sorts of largest Adriatic peninsula, Istria - Istrian Malvasia, Moscato, Refosco, Teran, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon... We will add to the wonderful scents and colors by visiting Pazin, Roč and Buzet, small towns well known for their stone castles with almost surreal views of the nearby settlements spread over numerous valleys and hills of central Istria. The river Mirna valley and Motovun forest in Livade are well known truffle centers, there we will take you in search for this renowned earthnut! Every day we will go in search of truffles accompanied by experienced pickers and assisted by trained truffle hounds, and later on we will prepare the truffles ourselves. We will organize tasting of various truffle dishes and the unique flavor of Istrian truffles. Once you taste them you will always want to come back!

PEARLS OF SACRAL HERITAGE

Walk around the church of St. Peter and Paul and the Pauline monastery in the small village of St. Peter in the Woods. Live out the colorful history of the town Pula, visit the Cathedral of Assumption of Mary, the monastery and church of St. Anthony and indispensable symbol of Pula, Arena. When in Rovinj climb up to the church of Sv. Euphemia, then head to Poreč and prepare to be fascinated by the famous Euphrasian Basilica, the most beautiful monument of early Byzantine art listed on the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage. In the end visit Vodnjan and take a look at the church of St. Blaise which holds 370 relics belonging to 250 different saints.
