FLORA AND FAUNA OF GORSKI KOTAR

During this tour we will take you to the most beautiful part of Croatia – Gorski Kotar – a region whose wealth of natural resources gives birth to an incredibly diverse flora and fauna. Our journey begins at the National Park Risnjak walking paths that lead through the forests of beech, alder, fir and spruce, while our guides tell stories about one of the most obscure carnivores in Europe – the Eurasian Lynx. Risnjak is one of the most diverse national parks in Croatia, especially if you are interested in hiking or climbing. It has one of the largest forests in the Mediterranean.
